Outdoor Facilities

There are a number of facilities around the hall.

The hall car park has spacing for approximately 35 cars, including one disabled parking space. Further parking is possible on the surrounding roads.

The children's play area includes swings, see-saws and climbing frames. Please look after your kids while they are in the play area.

In the bottom corner of the field is a two-lane cricket practice facility. This was installed by Beckington Cricket Club using funds accumulated from a large number of fundraising events, alongside a grant from Mendip District Council's S106 fund, which is provided by the developers of the Great Dunns housing estate. The facility is free to be used by all members of the community whenever the cricket club are not using it for a training session. Please do not use it for any other sports, and especially not for sports which use a heavier ball (e.g. football) as these will seriously damage the facility.

The field also contains a cricket square including an artificial wicket. This is used and maintained by Beckington Cricket Club. It can be used for other cricket use by prior arrangement with the club. Please do not go on the cricket square unless you are playing cricket, and never go on the cricket square while wearing studded footwear under any circumstances, as you will seriously damage the facility.
